TERMS FOR REFUND AND RETURNS

WHEN CAN YOU RETURN

  • In terms of the NCA (National Credit Act) a 7-day cooling-off period, is applicable, from date of receipt of your phone. However it is important to remember that the following must apply:
  • a non-defective product, may be returned for a refund/ exchange or credit.
  • Returning the product is done so at the customer’s expense, in its original packaging and condition. Please note that you may not remove the product from the original packaging or use the product in any way. Do not even remove the plastic from the box
  • While the phone is in your possession the manufacturer can hold you liable for any damage caused to the product.
  • Intellicell CC reserves the right to reject a return and/or an exchange if a product is not returned in its original, saleable condition,
  • Handsets must always be in the original undamaged box (including inner trays)
  • All promotional material accompanying the purchase must remain in the box

A product that has been intentionally or negligently damaged, scratched, marked, neglected, altered or repaired, Intellicell has the right to send this back to the customer at his/her own expense. If a product meets the requirements for a refund but has failed to be returned in original condition (eg: damaged box, missing accessories or manuals), the refund will be authorised but less market related fair depreciation in order to recover any losses. This will be decided solely at the discretion of Intellicell.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET THE WRONG DELIVERY?

  • If a wrong product was delivered to you (i.e. not the correct product ordered). Do no remove it from its packaging. Always check the product on delivery.
  • Contact Intellicell immediately on receipt of the incorrect product.
  • If the package has been opened and not returned in its original sealed codition, Intellicell reserves the right to reject the return.

MY PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE

  • Should the product be defective/ faulty or unsuitable as illustrated in the product description (or otherwise generally intended) the product will be collected. Sent to the relevant manufacturer to assess the problem. The process may take between 7 – 21 working days (excluding courier time).
  • If the device has been declared faulty by the manufacturer within 6 months from date of receipt (excluding software related issues) Intellicell will ensure that the unit is repaired free of charge, replaced or to be refunded. At Intellicell’ s discretion
  • If the product is determined not to be faulty (or if said fault is caused by any other means other than what is declared in terms of warranty set out by the manufacturer), you will NOT be entitled to any refund, or free replacement or repair, and you will be liable for all costs incurred for having the product collected and returned back to you.
  • Any Product returned for refund must be done with all packaging, all supplied accessories and in original sales condition. Should there be any missing boxes, insert trays, accessories, scratches, dents, liquid damage, third-party repairs or any modification will void any refund claim.

WHEN CAN I GET AN EXCHANGE

If any exchange or sale has been approved, Intellicell will try to replace the product with the same colour as originally purchased; an alternative colour will be chosen should the colour requested no longer be available. Should be the product be discontinued, it will be exchanged for an equivalent product to the value of, not exceeding the original purchase price.

RULES ON REFUNDS

Will only be processed on the following conditions:

  • Returned in the original packaging, and with all original accessories.
  • Assessed by an authorized repair centre before any refund will be processed. 7 – 21 working days excluding courier times will be the anticipated turnaround time.

MY PRODUCT WAS DELIVERED BROKEN

All products should be delivered to you in perfect condition. Should a parcel arrive partly or completely damaged you must refuse delivery. Write the faults down immediately onto the delivery form in the presence of the courier company. Or insist that the courier contact Intellicell while in your presence.

All products accepted on delivery, will be deemed accepted in good condition and no further complaints will be accepted by Intellicell.

RETURNS AND FEES

The cost of returning any product to Intellicell is the responsibility of the customer. All returns must be accompanied with a full description of the problem.
